Postpartum Care Services Equipment

UV Light

Our postpartum care services equipment is using the most advanced technology such as UV light, Jaundice Meter, Forehead Thermometer & more. UV light is a reliable, well-studied antimicrobial technology. The high-energy portion of the UV spectrum called UV-C is most effective. Whole-room UV disinfection systems were first introduced to US hospitals around 2007. Since then, popularity has surged because they sanitize practically all of the surfaces in a room at once, with minimal labor and without hazardous chemicals.

Jaundice Meter

The Jaundice Meter is intended for use as a screening device for jaundice in the newborn. The Jaundice Meter provides a transcutaneous measurement of bilirubin in mg/dL or μmol/L, identifying neonates who require a serum bilirubin measurement

• The Jaundice Meter is appropriate for use on neonates who are: — ≥ 24 weeks gestational age at birth

• less than 14 days of age — not undergoing phototherapy or have not undergone phototherapy or exchange transfusion

Forehead Thermometer

Using the forehead to take a temperature is a gentle way to monitor a fever. Forehead thermometers measure the infrared energy emitted from the skin above the eyebrow area and the surrounding tissue. This energy is collected through the lens and converted to a temperature value.
